I wasn't completely happy with my first orange painting so I wanted to paint it again, cutting the one orange changed it up a bit. It also made me realize that my first orange painting wasn't so bad after all. Its funny, there are paintings I dislike after I paint them but see in a totally different light after a few days or weeks. Is it because I have a different image in my head of what I'm trying to achieve? I don't know and does it really matter? Just my pondering, my hubby tells me I think about it too much.
