Working on some small exercises, these are 4x4, practicing for my acrylic painting class coming up September 30th. I painted one in acrylic then decided to try the same subject in Gouache. I've been itching to try Gouache so this exercise appealed to me. Trying something new is always fun and there is lots to learn about Gouche if I stay interested.
I'll be teaching an acrylic painting class at Rumriver Art Center in Anoka MN starting Sept. 30, 2026 for eight weeks. If you are local and interested there is still time to register. This class will focus on color mixing and creating a color chart. We will have fun painting small 6x6 inch panels using simple subject matter. Here is a link for more info:
